After a delicious breakfast at your hotel/riad, we will start our journey to Chefchaouen, a lovely town in the Rif Mountains of northern Morocco. The drive from Rabat to Chefchaouen takes about 4 hours, and along the way, you will pass by an incredible landscape of rolling hills and beautiful villages.

Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you will check in at your hotel/riad and have some free time to explore the city and its famous blue-painted streets. Chefchaouen is famous for its striking blue buildings, which give the city a unique and picturesque appearance. You can wander through the narrow streets and alleys of the old city, visit the bustling souks, or relax in one of the many cafes or restaurants serving delicious Moroccan cuisine.

Accommodation with Dinner & Breakfast in Chefchaouen.

3rd Day: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

On the third day of our 7-day Morocco tour from Casablanca, we will start the journey from Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes to experience the beauty of the Moroccan countryside.

Once we arrive in Volubilis, you can explore the ruins of this ancient city and learn about its fascinating history. Volubilis is famous for its well-preserved mosaics and the grandeur of its public buildings dating back to the 3rd century. Walking through the ruins will give you a glimpse into the lives of the Romans who once lived here.

Afternoon:

After exploring the ruins of Volubilis, we will head towards Meknes, a 17th-century city that was once the capital of Morocco. After lunch here, we will head towards the old medina, an ancient walled city featuring the famous Bab Mansour gate, as well as the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a religious site dedicated to the famous Sultan Moulay Ismail.

After a day of exploring Volubilis and Meknes, we will head to Fes, where you will spend the night in a beautiful riad.

4th Day: Explore Fes with a Local guide

After breakfast, a local guide will pick you up at the Riad to show you the mysteries of this marvellous medina. As you enter the streets of the medina (old city) you will feel that time has gone backwards: the guild structure is still at work, the narrow streets allow no other means of transport than donkeys and a constant bustle of people move through the labyrinthine alleys in the middle of which you will be surprised by neighbourhoods such as the Andalusian quarter and magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. Fez has always been associated with study and religiosity, and remains the spiritual capital of Morocco.

Our Guided day trip in Fes will take you to the most visited places in Fes. Night accommodation in Fes.

5th Day: Fes - Ifrane - Middle Atlas - Ziz Valley - Merzouga

Today we will head to the Merzouga desert via Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco. We will also stop in the Azrou forest to enjoy watching the little monkeys climbing the cedar trees, then we will continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Ziz Valley and its gorges. We will then continue to the city of Erfoud, famous as the capital of fossils.

In the afternoon we will arrive in Merzouga, where the Erg Chebbi dunes are located. A camel ride adventure will take us to the dunes of the desert to watch an unforgettable sunset. We will spend the night in a well-equipped desert camp. Here we will enjoy dinner, music, and a starry sky like you have never seen before.

6th Day: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate

Wake up in the morning to watch the amazing sunrise. Ride a camel back to the village of Merzouga to continue the journey to Ouarzazate.

We will then head towards Rissani, the first imperial city, with its interesting market where nomads from the surrounding area come to sell their livestock and buy the goods they need. We will continue our trip to Ouarzazate via the Todra Gorge, admiring the Berber villages until we reach the Grand Canyon. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate via Kalaat M’Gouna (Rose Valley), and Skoura. Overnight in a riad or hotel.

7th Day: Ouarzazate - Ait ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech

On the last day of our 7-day Morocco tour, we will head to a local village near Ouarzazate where you will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has also been featured in numerous films including “Gladiator” and “Lawrence of Arabia.” You will have the opportunity to explore this historic site and admire its detailed architecture and ornate decorations.

I Highly recommend this trip!

Ibrahim from Mouhou Tours took us on a 7-day Morocco tour from Casablanca. Communication was excellent right away with the management team, and every aspect was explained in detail. The trip was amazing, mostly thanks to our guide Ibrahim, who always went out of his way to explain things to us, show us around the country, and make sure we were comfortable during our vacation. The accommodations were impeccable; we were greeted every day with a smile, tea, and pastries. The meal was delicious. We will never forget our time in the desert. The landscape was beautiful, curious, and filled with very kind, compassionate, and polite people. I highly recommend it.
