2nd Day: Ouarzazate - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

Today, we will go on an off-road excursion around the villages of Merzouga. Our adventure begins with a visit to Khamlia village, home to a community of dark-skinned people whose ancestors were brought as slaves long ago. Today, they share their unique culture through the rhythms of Gnawa music.
Next, we head into the rocky black desert to explore an old mining village. Many of the abandoned houses here were built by the French during the colonial period. Afterward, we will visit a Berber family living in a traditional nomadic tent, where we will enjoy a cup of mint tea and learn about their simple way of life.
Afternoon:
A camel caravan will be waiting for us to start an unforgettable camel ride into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival at the desert camp, you can walk up the dunes to admire a stunning sunset and try sandboarding for fun.
After a delicious dinner at the camp, we will gather around the campfire to enjoy Berber drum music and songs. Before going to sleep, take a moment to gaze at the magical stars shining above the Sahara desert.
4rth Day: Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Cedar forest - Fes
- Driving time & distance: 7 to 8 Hrs / 550 km.
