1st Day: Arrival Casablanca
Arrive at Casablanca Airport. One of Mouhou Tours drivers will pick you up, and then escort you to your hotel (Depending on your arrival time ). If you arrive earlier you can have a short trip to Casablanca mosque before we take you to your accommodation.
2nd Day: Casablanca - Rabat
After breakfast at the hotel, start our 12-day Best of Morocco tour with a short city tour of Casablanca ( If you didn’t visit it on the first day ) Later on, you will depart to Rabat.
A sightseeing tour to visit the administrative capital of Morocco, the Royal Palace, The Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque initiated by The Almohad ruler, Yacoub al-Mansour. Night in Rabat Hotel or Riad.
3rd Day: Rabat - Chefchaouen
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Rabat and drive to the Blue city of Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, You will have plenty of time to explore this beautiful blue town in Morocco, strolling through its tiny, painted lanes and stopping at sights like the Spanish Mosque, the old Medina, Ras el Maa, a little waterfall, and a place to wash. Chefchaouen is an ideal location for strolling and taking photographs. Night Accommodation in Chefchaouen.
4th Day: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
From Chefchaouen, head to Meknes and then to the nearby city of Fes. Meknes is the third imperial city of Morocco, and its famous gate is Bab Mansour, the Versailles of Morocco. Next, visit the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, one of the holiest sites and a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans.
Next, discover the ancient Roman ruins of Volopolis. Finally, drive to Fez. Enjoy your evening with a traditional Moroccan dinner, and spend the night in a riad.
5th Day: Explore Fes with a Local guide
Start your exploration with a local guide to the oldest city in Morocco, walking through its narrow streets and alleys. Our visit begins with a visit to the gate of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, and the first Mellah built in Morocco, built during the 14th century.
We will make sure to visit all the sites of cultural and historical interest including the famous University of Al-Qarawiyyin, considered the oldest in the world, the tanneries, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss.
After lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant, visit the Cooperative of the Courts and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the entire city of Fez. Overnight in the Riad.
6th Day: Fes - Merzouga desert
Today early morning, you will travel through the middle Atlas via Ifrane “Moroccan Switzerland” and Azrou. a stop at the cedar forest for a visit to Cedar Gouraud Tree where you will see Barbary apes. From here we drive further south passing by several towns and you will get the opportunity to view nomads living in tents along the way.
Our next stop is in Midelt where you will enjoy your lunch. Later on, continuing our drive by crossing the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) while enjoying the panoramic views. You will also cross Ziz Gorge and the tunnel.
Continue our drive to Erfoud, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of the Aoufous palm grove along the Ziz River. After Erfoud, Arrive at Merzouga to reach the hotel. Overnight stay in a Hotel.
7th Day: Full day Exploring Merzouga desert
You will start an explorative journey of the area, you will visit the nomads in their goat-hair tent and learn about the desert life, afterward, Black Desert and Mine village. you also visit the Gnaoua people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, here you will have the opportunity to listen to their music and learn about their culture and lifestyle.
You will enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert and the sunset over the golden dunes by riding the camels across the dunes of Erg-Chebbi. After the sunset, you will enjoy your dinner at camp where you will spend your night. Drums music around the campfire awaits you after dinner.
8th Day: Merzouga - Todra gorges - Ouarzazate
Wake up on the 8th day of our 12-day tour from Casablanca to watch the sunrise in the desert and enjoy breakfast. Get ready for a new journey. We will travel to Ouarzazate via the Todara Gorge, Kelaat M’Gouna, and Skoura.
You will have a short time to explore the Todara Gorge and walk through this amazing place while enjoying the views of the high rock walls. From here, we continue our drive to Kelaat M’Gouna (Valley of Roses), the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, and the Skoura palm grove.
Finally, you will arrive in Ouarzazate, and enjoy the view of the Kasbah of Taourirt built by the Glaoui dynasty. Overnight in a Kasbah or hotel in Ouarzazate.
9th Day: Ouarzazate - Ait ben Haddou - Marrakech
This morning, after breakfast, you can visit the Atlas Film Studios before heading to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will visit the exotic Kasbah that gives it its name. Perched on a hill along the fertile Ounila River, this Kasbah has become famous for its role in hosting many films such as The Man Who Wanted to Be King, The Jewel of the Nile, Jesus of Nazareth, The Message, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and The Gladiator.
We then continue through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). We will stop along the way to take photos and enjoy the panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains with the Berber villages located along the way. Arrive in Marrakech. Night in a Riad.
10th Day: Marrakech Guided Day trip
A day of exploration awaits you after breakfast in Riyadh. We will make sure you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. After lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will wander through the souks and see hundreds of handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander on your own through the other parts of the city. Night in Marrakech riad.
11th Day: Free day in Marrakech or Day trip
You can choose to have a free day in Marrakech to Enjoy it in your own or to do some of our day trips to Essaouira, Ourika Valley or Ouzoud waterfalls. Night in Marrakech.
12th Day: Transfer to the Airport
