Ourika’s day trip from Marrakech consists of visiting an autochthonous world populated mainly by Berbers in the Moroccan High Atlas.
Every day we schedule the excursion to the Ourika Valley in a group or private, leaving at 08:30 with an experienced English-speaking driver who explains what you see on the road by making many stops on the way to take pictures.
In addition, we also give you the opportunity to make one of the most exciting experiences you can do: walk the western slopes of the mountains of the High Atlas.
OURIKA VALLEY DAY TRIP ITINERARY
On the trip from Marrakesh to Ourika valley and the Atlas, you can visit the Berber market on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and if you wish (optional) you can stop at a Berber house that opens the door for you and invites you to see the traditional way of preparing bread and drinking Moroccan tea.
At the end of the day tour, we will reach the village of Siti Fadma. Here you will have free time to visit Ourika water Falls and have lunch. If you wish, we can provide you with a local guide service (around 20 €) that will show you the waterfalls in the interior of the mountains.
Lunch can be taken at a local restaurant facing the river (approx € 15 / menu). Then return to Marrakech around 5:00 pm.
