1st Day: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait ben Haddou - Tingher
The 3-day Marrakech desert tour starts with a pick-up from your accommodation or the nearest parking to your lodge. Driving across the High Atlas Mountains via Berber Villages and Kasbah. after spending a few hours seeing the Atlas Mountains we will arrive at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a well-known World Heritage site. stop to visit the Kasbah and lunch break.
We continue to Ouarzazate, often known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” The Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas studios in Ouarzazate were the filming locations for numerous films, including Game of Thrones and many others. After that, we’ll head into Roses Valley and Skoura. Our overnight stay will be at the hotel in Dades or Tingher.
2nd Day: Tingher - Todra Gorges - Merzouga desert
After breakfast, we continue our three-day adventure over the Moroccan desert to Merzouga. After that, we’ll go through the Toudra Gorges, passing by numerous charming Berber towns and old kasbahs. to Tineghir, a gorgeous valley dotted with date palms. Trek through 300-meter-high canyons and take in the spectacular views of the surrounding high cliffs of pink and grey rock.
Afternoon:
After lunch in Tinjdad, we will travel to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, Sahara Desert. As soon as you reach the well-known Erg Chebbi dunes, we’ll treat you to a one-hour camel ride to enjoy the sunset on the way to the Desert camp. Dinner and Night at a well-equipped tented camp. A local show beside the campfire awaits you after dinner. You can enjoy the starry sky before you go to bed.
3rd Day: Merzouga - High Atlas - Marrakech
Start your day early and enjoy an amazing sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga village.
You will make a few stops along the road to Marrakech. After having lunch, continue to the red city of Marrakech by crossing the Tizi N’tichka Pass (2260 meters above sea level) and the high Atlas Mountains.
