1st Day: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait ben Haddou - Tingher
Our 3-day desert tour will depart Marrakech at 8 am and go to the Dades Gorge or Tingher which will take around 7 hours. While traveling, we’ll stop in traditional Berber villages and traverse the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. A unique visit is made to the UNESCO-designated Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a 12,000-year-old Kasbah that was an important stopping point on the old Salt Road. The TV show “Game of Thrones” and well-known movies like “Indiana Jones” and “Gladiator” both used this village as a filming site.
Ouarzazate is our next stop, after that, we take a beautiful journey through Skoura and the Rose Valley to the Dades Valley ( Or Tinghir ). Night Accommodation with Dinner at a local hotel or Kasbah.
2nd Day: Tingher - Todra Gorges - Merzouga desert
Following a delicious breakfast in our lovely hotel, we will travel via Tinghir and the Todra Valley—a palm-tree-filled oasis—to reach Todra Gorge. Walk through the magnificent Todra Canyon before we continue our journey to Merzouga.
Upon arrivale Merzouga in the afternoon the camel ride adventure across the Erg Chebbi Dunes awaits us. We may see the Beautiful sunset on the way to the camp or in the dunes when we get to the desert camp.
A very well-equipped tented camp is where we will spend the night. we will sit beside the campfire after dinner to enjoy the local show ( Berber drums music ). Enjoy the stars under the Sahara sky before you go to sleep.
3rd Day: Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Cedar - forest - Fes
Get up early on the last day of your desert tour from Marrakech to Fes to witness the stunning sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Then, have an unforgettable camel ride back to the village of Merzouga.
